Heavitree Gap is a striking natural cleft in the MacDonnell Ranges, through which the Todd River passes. Visitors can drive or walk through the gap, taking in the rugged red rock formations and the riverbed. It's a popular spot for photography and offers a sense of the ancient landscape that defines Alice Springs. The gap also holds cultural significance for the Arrernte people.
