Coma Pedrosa is the highest peak in Andorra, rising to 2,942 meters in the northwestern part of the country. It is a coveted destination for hikers and climbers, known for its rugged beauty and panoramic vistas from the summit. The most popular ascent begins at the Arinsal cable car, which takes visitors to 1,950 meters, reducing the climb to about 1,000 meters of elevation gain. The trail traverses rocky terrain, past alpine lakes and remnants of glacial activity, with the final push requiring some scrambling. On clear days, the summit rewards with sweeping views of the Pyrenees stretching into France and Spain. The mountain is also part of the Parc Natural Comunal de les Valls del Comapedrosa, ensuring its preservation.
