Casa de la Vall is a 16th-century stone manor in Ordino that served as Andorra's parliament building until 2011. Now a museum, it offers a glimpse into the country's unique political system. Visitors can tour the main hall where the General Council met, see the famous 'armoire of the seven keys' that held state documents, and explore period rooms with antique furniture and artifacts. The building's thick walls, wooden balconies, and courtyard reflect traditional Andorran architecture. It's a compact but rich stop for understanding Andorra's history.

Don't miss

  • See the 'armoire of the seven keys,' a historic cabinet requiring seven keys to open, symbolizing Andorra's co-princes.
  • Tour the main council chamber with its original wooden benches and coat of arms.
  • View the small kitchen and living quarters furnished with 16th- and 17th-century pieces.
