Housed in the Cathedral of Dormition of St. Mary within Berat Castle, the Onufri Iconographic Museum holds one of Albania's finest collections of religious art. The museum is named after Onufri, a 16th-century master whose icons are distinguished by their vibrant reds and blues and expressive faces. Visitors can view over 100 icons, liturgical objects, and wood-carved iconostases, all set within the cathedral's atmospheric interior. The museum offers a rare glimpse into the artistic heritage of the Orthodox tradition in Albania.
