- The park is on Letná hill, above the Vltava River, with steep embankments leading up from the riverbank.
- The area around the metronome is a popular skateboarding spot.
历史一瞥
The area was used for military camps in the Middle Ages and later became vineyards and gardens. In 1955, a large monument to Joseph Stalin was built at the park's edge; it was destroyed in 1962 and replaced by the Prague Metronome. During the Velvet Revolution in November 1989, about 750,000 people protested on the nearby Letná Plain. In 1996, Michael Jackson kicked off his HIStory World Tour here, with around 130,000 attendees. In 2019, more than 250,000 people gathered to call for the prime minister's resignation.

It's a large marble pedestal that originally held a statue of Joseph Stalin. The statue was removed in 1962, and a metronome now sits on the pedestal.

Yes, one of the oldest carousels in Europe, built in 1892, was reconstructed and reopened in July 2022.
