Reichstag Building

国会大厦是柏林最重要的地标之一，是德国联邦议院（议会）的所在地。其历史可追溯到1894年，但在二战中严重受损，后来得以修复。最显著的特点是巨大的玻璃穹顶，由建筑师诺曼·福斯特在1990年代的翻新中增建。游客可以沿着穹顶内的螺旋坡道攀登，360度欣赏城市天际线，包括勃兰登堡门和柏林大教堂。穹顶也象征着政府的透明度，因为游客可以俯瞰下方的全体会议厅。建筑外墙融合了历史石材与现代玻璃，屋顶露台提供了绝佳的观景点。参观这里既能感受建筑之美，也能了解德国民主制度。

历史一瞥

The building housed the German Empire's Reichstag and later the Weimar Republic's parliament. A 1933 arson fire gutted much of the structure, a pivotal event used by the Nazis to suspend civil liberties. During World War II, it was a key target for the Red Army in the Battle of Berlin. After the war, it stood in West Berlin and was restored in the 1950s and 1960s. Following German reunification, Norman Foster redesigned it from 1995 to 1999, adding the glass dome. The Bundestag officially convened there on 19 April 1999.
