Berlin TV Tower

柏林电视塔（Fernsehturm）是这座城市天际线上极具代表性的建筑，坐落在亚历山大广场，塔高368米。它建于20世纪60年代的德意志民主共和国时期，至今仍是欧洲最高的建筑之一。游客可乘坐高速电梯直达203米高的观景台，在此360度环视柏林的地标建筑，包括国会大厦、勃兰登堡门和施普雷河。观景台设有旋转餐厅Sphere，每30分钟完成一次完整旋转，让食客无需离座便可欣赏整座城市的景致。这座塔球形塔顶配以纤细塔身的独特造型，是首次到访柏林的游客必去之处。晴天时，能见度可达40公里。日落时分华灯初上，电视塔格外迷人。

行前须知

• The observation level is 203 metres above ground and has 60 windows around the sphere.
• Watch for the cross-shaped sunlight reflection on the dome, nicknamed the Pope's Revenge.
• The restaurant level is 21 steps above the observation platform.

历史一瞥

Built between 1965 and 1969 by the East German government, the tower served as both a broadcasting facility and a symbol of communist power. It was inaugurated on 3 October 1969 by Walter Ulbricht, launching colour television on two channels. After reunification, it transformed from a GDR symbol into a citywide emblem of a reunited Berlin, receiving official monument status in 1979.
