Salt Lake Tabernacle

The Salt Lake Tabernacle, completed in 1867, is an engineering marvel with a dome spanning 150 feet without interior supports. Its unique shape creates acoustics so clear that a pin drop can be heard from 170 feet away. Visitors can attend free daily organ recitals on the 11,623-pipe organ or hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir during weekly rehearsals. The interior seats 3,200 and features warm wood finishes.
