Laurel Falls Trail is a paved, 2.6-mile round-trip hike that leads to the stunning 80-foot Laurel Falls, one of the most photographed waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains. The trail follows a gentle grade through a forest of rhododendron and mountain laurel, making it accessible for families and casual hikers. The waterfall cascades in two tiers over a rocky ledge, with a footbridge allowing close-up views. Because of its popularity, the trail can be crowded, but the reward is a beautiful, refreshing sight.
