The Mathematical Bridge is a iconic wooden footbridge spanning the River Cam within Queens' College. Despite its name, the bridge's design is not purely mathematical but uses a series of straight timbers arranged in a tangent and radial pattern to create an arch. Originally built in 1749, the current bridge is a 1905 replica. Visitors can walk across it for free during college opening hours, enjoying views of the river and college gardens. The bridge's graceful curves and engineering ingenuity make it a favourite photo spot.
