The Green Planet

The Green Planet is an immersive indoor bio-dome located in City Walk, Dubai, that recreates a tropical rainforest environment. The centerpiece is a 25-meter-tall artificial tree (the 'Life Tree') surrounded by lush vegetation, waterfalls, and a diverse array of animals. Visitors can explore four levels: the canopy, mid-story, forest floor, and a flooded forest, each hosting different species. You'll encounter free-flying birds, sloths, toucans, reptiles, insects, and even a two-toed sloth named 'Baby'. The experience is both educational and interactive, with daily animal encounters, feeding sessions, and talks by knowledgeable staff. The humidity and temperature are carefully controlled to mimic a real rainforest, making it a refreshing escape from Dubai's desert climate. It's particularly popular with families, but appeals to anyone interested in nature and conservation. The facility also emphasizes sustainability and conservation efforts.
