Been here twice, and both times I enjoyed the set course meal – each dish was well thought out and beautifully presented. The dessert, a selection of kuehs, was heavenly and truly the highlight of the meal! The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, leaving a memorable end to the dining experience. Friendly service and cozy ambiance make this spot a hidden gem worth revisiting.
I recently dined at Rempapa, a restaurant that celebrates Singapore’s rich culinary heritage by blending Chinese, Peranakan, Eurasian, Indian, and Malay cuisines.  The assorted kueh platter was a highlight, featuring traditional treats like kueh salat, ondeh ondeh, huat kueh, and taro kueh. however, there is a minimum order for kuehs. While the menu offers some vegetarian options, such as the Chickpea Curry and Stir-fried Market Vegetables, the selection is somewhat limited.  It’s worth noting that Nasi Lemak is available during brunch hours but not offered for dinner.  Overall, the dishes were flavorful; the ambiance was inviting, and the service attentive, making for a delightful dining experience. I look forward to returning to explore more of their heritage-inspired menu. Will recommend if you want a cosy place for dinner.
Hosted some friends to lunch here and it was largely enjoyable. The lunch menu has changed though, and it is now mostly nasi lemak with various options and sides. We enjoyed the fried chee cheong fun and ayam Pelencheng so much that we ordered another portion of each. The gerang assam fish was also nice, while the sambal prawns was a tiny portion for the price, but tasty. Surprisingly, the chickpea with string hoppers was not a favourite, and most found the chickpea curry to be powdery and slightly sour in taste. Service by Anthony and the team was very friendly, and efficient. We will be back to try the dinner menu.
Quality of quality is acceptable. The cashier that served us on the particular night named Anthony, I strongest suggest he should have attention a customer service 101 class. Rude and not helpful staff when my cards wasn’t working, he did not try to help but said sarcastic words instead. Eg Malaysian card normally low credit, you might burst your card. (Excuse me, it’s just a SGD150!) I were there for a business meeting. At last, the card suppose to slot in instead of wave/tap on the device. And he don’t even help to try. I literally offered and slotted in by myself.
