Kültürpark is İzmir's premier urban green space, covering 42 hectares in the city center. Created in the 1930s, it features tree-lined avenues, flower gardens, and a serene lake where visitors can row boats. The park is best known for hosting the İzmir International Fair every August, a major trade and cultural event. Year-round, it houses several museums, including the İzmir Museum of History and Art, open-air theaters, and playgrounds. Locals come to stroll, picnic, or relax in the shade, making it a vibrant community hub.
