Wat Chalong, officially named Wat Chaitararam, stands as the spiritual heart of Phuket, drawing both locals and tourists seeking blessings and insight into Thai Buddhism. The temple complex features ornate chedis (stupas) and a grand viharn (assembly hall) housing the highly venerated statue of Luang Pho Chaem, a revered monk known for his healing abilities.
