The Paper Dome in Puli is a remarkable structure originally constructed after the 1995 Kobe earthquake using paper tubes as the primary building material. Designed by architect Shigeru Ban, it served as a temporary church in Japan before being dismantled and moved to Taiwan in 2005. Visitors can explore the serene interior, admire the innovative use of paper in architecture, and learn about its history of community rebuilding.
