Männlichen is a prominent mountain peak in the Bernese Alps, located above the resort town of Wengen. It is easily reached by a modern gondola lift from Wengen or Grindelwald, making it a popular day trip from Interlaken. At the summit, visitors are greeted with sweeping views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks, as well as the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The area features well-marked hiking trails, including the famous Royal Walk, a short, easy path with information panels about the British royal family's visits. In winter, the mountain becomes a ski area with slopes for all levels. The summit also has a restaurant and viewing platform, perfect for soaking in the alpine scenery.
