San Cristóbal Hill, part of the Rímac District, is one of the highest natural viewpoints in Lima, rising 400 meters above sea level. Visitors can take a bus or hike to the summit, where a large cross and a small chapel stand. From the top, the sprawling city, the coastline, and the port of Callao are visible on clear days. The hill is also a pilgrimage site during religious festivals. Its distinctive feature is the sweeping, 360-degree vista that reveals Lima's urban expanse and its relationship with the ocean.
