The Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, located between the Rawalpindi railway station and Kabari Bazaar in Saddar. It is one of three main Hindu temples in the district and serves as a place of worship for the local Hindu community. The double-storey building covers less than 101 square meters, with a courtyard that can accommodate around 100 worshippers.

A bit of history
The temple was built in 1897 during the British Raj by brothers Kanji Mal and Ujagar Mal Ram Rachpal, wealthy businessmen from Saddar. It was closed from 1947 to 1948 to avoid religious violence after Partition, then reopened in 1949 and handed to the local Hindu Punchayat. In 1970, the Evacuee Trust Property Board took over the temple and leased surrounding land to traders, which the Hindu community has protested. It was frequented by diplomats from Islamabad until the 1980s.
