Our Lady of Lebanon is a prominent Marian shrine perched on a hilltop in Harissa, with a 15-ton bronze statue of the Virgin Mary raising her arms in blessing. Visitors can take a cable car from Jounieh or drive up to the site. The shrine includes a church, a small museum, and a viewing platform that provides sweeping vistas of Jounieh Bay and the Mediterranean. Pilgrims and tourists alike come to light candles, attend mass, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting. The statue, visible from miles away, is a symbol of Lebanon's Christian heritage.
