역사 이야기
Emperor Franz Joseph I opened the museum around 1891, alongside the similarly designed Natural History Museum across Maria-Theresien-Platz. The two buildings were constructed between 1871 and 1891 by architects Gottfried Semper and Baron Karl von Hasenauer to house the Habsburg art collection and make it accessible to the public.
