Jaffa Gate

Jaffa Gate, on the western side of Jerusalem's Old City, is a major entry point for visitors. Built in the 16th century by Suleiman the Magnificent, it features a large arched opening and a distinctive L-shaped passage. The gate leads directly into the Christian and Armenian Quarters. Nearby, you'll find the Tower of David museum and bustling markets. The gate's name comes from the Jaffa Road, which historically led to the port of Jaffa.
