Massacre Ghat, also known as Sati Chaura Ghat, is a solemn site along the Ganges River in Kanpur. It marks the location where, in June 1857, during the Indian Rebellion, hundreds of British civilians and soldiers were killed. Today, a memorial plaque and a small park commemorate the event. Visitors can walk along the riverbank, observe local rituals, and reflect on the tragic history. The ghat offers a poignant glimpse into colonial-era conflicts.
