Necklace Road is a picturesque boulevard encircling the northern shore of Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. Named for its necklace-like shape when lit at night, the road offers a serene escape from the city's hustle. A bit of history

Necklace Road was developed in the 1990s as part of the Hussain Sagar Lake beautification project. The road's name comes from its curved alignment and the necklace-like glow of its lights at night. The lake itself was built in 1562 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah.
