Golconda Fort, originally a mud fort built by the Kakatiya dynasty, was later expanded by the Qutb Shahi sultans into a massive granite fortress. Known for its ingenious acoustic system, a handclap at the entrance can be heard at the top, nearly a kilometer away. Visitors explore palaces, mosques, and the famous Fateh Darwaza (Victory Gate). The evening sound and light show brings the fort's history to life with dramatic narration and illumination.
