Nymphenburg Palace is one of Europe's most impressive Baroque residences, located on the outskirts of Munich. Built from 1664 as a summer retreat for the Wittelsbach rulers, the palace complex includes the main building, the Marstallmuseum (carriage museum), and several pavilions in the park. The palace's grand halls are adorned with frescoes, stucco, and tapestries, with the Steinerner Saal (Stone Hall) being a highlight. The expansive park features canals, fountains, and the Amalienburg hunting lodge. Visitors can stroll through the formal gardens, explore the Badenburg and Pagodenburg pavilions, or take a boat ride on the canal. The palace offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of Bavarian royalty and is a UNESCO World Heritage candidate.
