Victoria Bastion

Victoria Bastion is a 17th-century earthwork fortification built by the Swedes as part of Narva's defensive ring. Today, the bastion is a grassy hill with remnants of stone walls and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can climb the gentle slopes for excellent views of the Narva River and the Hermann Castle on the opposite bank. The bastion also houses the Swedish Lion monument on its summit, making it a combined historical and scenic stop.
