The Temple of Jupiter, originally dedicated to the Roman god Jupiter, was built within Diocletian's Palace in the 4th century. Later converted into a Christian baptistery, it retains its original Roman entrance with a richly decorated barrel-vaulted ceiling and a doorway flanked by columns. Inside, visitors can see a statue of St. John the Baptist by Ivan Meštrović, as well as a font made from ancient stone fragments. The temple's intimate scale and well-preserved Roman architecture make it a highlight of the palace complex.
