Qingdao TV Tower is a 232-meter-tall lattice television tower on top of Taiping Hill in Julin Hill Park. It is the tallest attraction in the city. An elevator takes visitors to an outdoor observation deck with panoramic views of Qingdao.

A bit of history

Construction began in 1993 and was completed in 1996. Architect Renle Ma also designed the Zhongyuan Tower and the Henan Tower (FU Tower). The steel tower weighs 2000 tons and houses 11 broadcasting facilities.
