Winterlude is Ottawa's annual winter festival, typically held in February, celebrating the season with outdoor activities for all ages. The centerpiece is the Rideau Canal Skateway, the world's largest naturally frozen skating rink, stretching over 7.8 kilometers through the city. Visitors can also admire intricate ice sculptures at Confederation Park, enjoy snow slides and tubing at Snowflake Kingdom in Jacques-Cartier Park, and warm up with maple taffy on snow.
