Sofia Synagogue, completed in 1909, is the largest Sephardic synagogue in Europe and a masterpiece of Moorish Revival architecture. The interior dazzles with intricate geometric patterns, colorful stained glass, and a massive 1.7-ton bronze chandelier. The synagogue also houses the Jewish Museum of History, which displays artifacts documenting Bulgaria's Jewish heritage. Visitors can explore the ornate prayer hall, learn about the community's survival during World War II, and see the beautifully preserved ark. The building's central location near the Serdika metro station makes it easily accessible.
