Manneken Pis is a tiny bronze statue (about 61 cm tall) of a little boy cheerfully urinating into a fountain basin. Despite its modest size, it is one of Brussels' most beloved landmarks, often dressed in costumes that reflect local festivals, national holidays, or international events. The statue is located at the corner of Rue de l'Étuve and Rue des Grands Carmes, just a short walk from the Grand-Place. Visitors gather to snap photos and marvel at the legend behind the figure. The statue's wardrobe, with over 1,000 costumes, is displayed at the City Museum in the Grand-Place.
