Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary

Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is a 35-acre protected wetland and the last remaining mangrove swamp on Barbados' south coast. It's a haven for birdwatchers, with over 50 species of resident and migratory birds, including herons, egrets, and the rare Caribbean coot. Visitors can explore the sanctuary via a network of boardwalks and trails that wind through the mangroves and around the lagoon. The visitor center features educational exhibits about the wetland ecosystem. The sanctuary offers a tranquil escape from the nearby beach crowds, with shaded benches and observation platforms for wildlife viewing.
