Flinders Street railway station is Melbourne's oldest and busiest train station, opened in 1854. Its grand Edwardian Baroque facade, green copper dome, and clock tower make it a beloved symbol of the city. The station's main entrance under the clocks is a popular meeting point. Inside, the vaulted ceilings and historic platforms evoke a bygone era of rail travel.
