The Victoria Falls Bridge is an iconic steel arch bridge built in 1905, connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia over the Zambezi River just below the falls. Designed by engineer Ralph Freeman, it was part of Cecil Rhodes' dream of a Cape-to-Cairo railway. The bridge offers spectacular panoramic views of the gorge and the falls, especially from its central span. Today, it is famous for bungee jumping, with a 111-meter drop into the gorge, as well as zip-lining and bridge swings. Visitors can also walk across the bridge on foot, enjoying the scenery and the mist rising from the river.

Don't miss

  • Bungee jump from the bridge's center, one of the highest commercial jumps in the world.
  • Walk across the bridge for stunning views of the Zambezi Gorge and the falls.
  • Try the zip-line or bridge swing for an adrenaline rush over the river.
