The Tomb of Gia Long, also known as Thiên Thọ Lăng, is the burial site of Emperor Gia Long, founder of the Nguyễn dynasty. Located about 20 kilometers from Hue in a remote, forested area, it offers a tranquil escape from the city. The complex features traditional architecture with stone carvings and is surrounded by lush pine forests and hills. Visitors can explore the emperor's tomb, his wife's adjacent tomb, and enjoy the peaceful natural setting, which contrasts with the more ornate later royal tombs.
