Camp Holloway served as a major U.S. Army helicopter base during the Vietnam War, famously attacked in the 1965 Battle of Ia Drang. Today, the site is a memorial park featuring a restored UH-1 Huey helicopter on a pedestal, along with plaques and a small museum. Visitors can walk the grounds, view wartime photographs, and pay respects at the memorial. It offers a poignant glimpse into the helicopter war that defined the Central Highlands campaign.
