Buffalo Cave

Buffalo Cave (Hang Trâu) is one of the most impressive caves in the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Ninh Binh. The cave is accessed by a traditional rowboat, which glides through a dark, cool tunnel carved by the river over millennia. Inside, you'll be awed by the massive stalactites and stalagmites that hang from the ceiling like frozen waterfalls, illuminated by subtle lighting. The boat ride takes you through three main chambers, each with its own unique rock formations and echoes of dripping water. A bit of history

The cave was formed over millions of years by water erosion through limestone. It is part of the Trang An system, which has been inhabited by humans for over 30,000 years, as evidenced by archaeological finds in nearby caves.
