Excellent meal, the menu is huge and also includes a lot of meat substitutes, though all the standard veggie options are available e.g. tofu. We were the only tourists in the semi full restaurant, otherwise it was full of locals. One waiter spoke excellent English, and was able to offer us recommendations too. 5 dishes and 3 bottles of water cost us 650,000 dong, so a little pricey, but well worth it.
- Food is excellent. - Price is steep - Service is terrible. I need to fill in my own order (as the waiter was too busy serving other tables). - Wait time is horrendous. I waited 1 hour, and still waiting for the rice and noodles to come.
I've been a vegan for many years, so I'm very careful in choosing dishes and ingredients. Walking around the vegan restaurants, I decided to go to Hoa Dang restaurants. What surprised me is the new Hoa Dang branch is much more beautiful than on the picture in the internet. I was recommended to try two of the restaurant's best sellers, which are Hoa Dang salad and Nha Trang steamed rice roll. Hoa Dang salad is very easy to eat. I'm from the north of Vietnam so I like the smell of the restaurant's fragrant onions with 'ram' cakes. Hoa Dang rolls are very tasty, much different from the rolls outside, It's not greasy dish and very fragrant. Drinking more coffee with plant-based milk must be said to be perfect on a rainy afternoon.
Great vegan food at a good price. Really friendly lovely lady running the place. Tucked away down a little alley. Follow Google maps to get there.
