Da Nang Cathedral, locally known as the 'Pink Church' (Nha Tho Con Ga), is a striking Gothic Revival structure built in 1923 by French missionaries. Its pastel pink exterior, pointed arches, and stained-glass windows make it one of the most photographed landmarks in Da Nang. Located on Tran Phu Street in the city center, the cathedral serves an active Catholic congregation and holds daily masses. Visitors can admire the architecture from the outside or step inside during visiting hours to see the wooden pews, altar, and colorful windows depicting biblical scenes. The cathedral's bell tower, topped with a rooster weather vane (hence the nickname 'Con Ga' meaning 'chicken'), offers a unique silhouette against the sky. It's a peaceful spot for reflection amidst the bustling city.
