Kuk Gumbaz Mosque, completed in 1437, serves as the Friday mosque of Shakhrisabz and is renowned for its striking turquoise dome that dominates the skyline. The mosque's name, meaning 'Blue Dome,' reflects the vibrant ceramic tiles covering the dome and facade. Inside, the prayer hall features elegant arches and remnants of painted decoration. The adjacent small medressa adds to the religious complex, making it a serene spot for contemplation and appreciation of Timurid architecture.
