Santa Teresa National Park encompasses over 3,000 hectares of coastal forests, dunes, wetlands, and untouched beaches along Uruguay's Atlantic shore. Visitors can hike through native flora, spot wildlife like capybaras and birds, and swim at secluded beaches such as Playa Grande. The park also contains the historic Fortaleza de Santa Teresa, making it a blend of nature and history. Well-marked trails range from short walks to longer treks through varied landscapes.
