Parque Batlle is one of Montevideo's largest and most beloved parks, offering a serene escape with vast lawns, tree-lined avenues, and monuments. Visitors can explore the historic Estadio Centenario, where the first FIFA World Cup was held in 1930, now a museum. The park also houses the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum, showcasing Uruguayan art in a beautiful 19th-century villa, and the Planetario, which features astronomy exhibits and shows. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or a cultural outing.
