If you’re looking for an excellent experience with brunch + drag queens show, that’s the right place! Go for it and you won’t regret! I went today (Sunday morning) with my partner and we had a such great time, with great staff serving us and a delicious food. At the end of the show the performers came up to us and appreciated us and we took awesome pictures. It was a blast! 💜Thank you, guys!
Great time! Really kind service and fantastic food. I started with the Cherry bomb cocktail which had less of a cherry flavor than a spicy and Mezcal taste but I loved it. The sushi was fantastic and I loved the ceviche appetizer. The steak was awesome and tasted like it had a miso based sauce. Such a fun time. Server Julia was great!
The following are required for the Sunday drag lunch: A sense of humour The ability to load your plate (although you can go back unlimited times) The ability to drink carafes of cocktails The understanding that life is short and you need to cram as much good times as possible Acts great Staff great Brilliant afternoon
So: the website says, “Reservations are for one hour and forty five minutes. If there is inclement weather we will do our best to move your party inside, but cannot guarantee availability”; what’s more (since a storm is a possibility), when you arrive the receptionist will tell you not to worry: if it does rain, you’ll be seated indoors, at the bar. What this actually means is that, after 2 drops of rain (but no follow up shower, let alone storm), you will be asked if you mind moving to eat downstairs. All ok: you’ll go downstairs. You’ll see an empty bar and 8 empty tables and you think that’s fine. But then the “manager” will tell you to wait for 15 minutes while 2 walk-in groups are seated, then you will be told that there’s nowhere to seat you and you’ll be given a takeout bag with the remains of your appetisers, along with a bill that includes a 20% “service” charge. You fume but there’s no-one to talk to (having made its decision, “management” has vanished), so you sign your check and and you back out upstairs to give the (very good) waitress your cheque and there you see a single table still eating happily outside - they haven’t been told to go inside, but then it still hasn’t rained and - who knows - maybe they’re friends of the “management”. Shameful.
