Our experience was great. The staff called us because we were a little behind to let us know the kitchen closed no later than 9:15. We got in and were taken care of immediately. We sat at the counter and got to watch the team in action. It’s an intense kitchen vibe but cool to see the food come out. We order 5 small dishes to share and the pork cheek skewers, fried tofu and mushrooms in butter sauce were my favorites. I’d come back again for a larger selection!

We had an excellent dining experience at Izakaya Seki! Here’s a breakdown of the dishes we ordered: Tonkatsu: The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The breading was light yet flavorful, and the accompanying sauce complemented the dish beautifully. Fried Shrimp: The shrimp was fresh and cooked to perfection with a golden, crispy coating. The texture was spot-on, and it paired wonderfully with the tangy dipping sauce provided. Omelette: This was a highlight of the meal! The omelette was fluffy and seasoned just right, with a subtle sweetness that added depth to the flavor. It was a comforting and satisfying dish. Pork Yakitori: The skewered pork was grilled to perfection, with a delicious smoky flavor. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, making it a great complement to the rest of our meal. Overall, Izakaya Seki delivered authentic flavors and expertly prepared dishes. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy classic izakaya-style cuisine!

Food is good but service is poor. According to reservation, we arrived perfectly on time at 8 and five min afterwards we were urged to order because kitchen would close shortly. Menu is barely readable. We spent 35 minutes at the restaurant. If you call this dining out…

I visited here with a few friends on a Tuesday night for dinner. We had made a reservation in advance and based on how full it was, I recommend doing this. The food was good. Limited menu. Pricey. Ambiance was pleasant and like the real thing, much like the many Izakaya restaurants I visited while in Japan. Staff was efficient, though not very talkative. Recommended to try at least once. I feel like you really have to be in the mood for this kind of food and experience to enjoy it.
