Bank Bridge (Bankovskiy Most) is a picturesque footbridge spanning the Griboyedov Canal in St. Petersburg, connecting Kazanskiy Island and Spasskiy Island. It is one of the city's most beloved bridges, famous for its four majestic griffin statues at each corner, which hold chains that support the bridge. The griffins, with their golden wings and lanterns, give the bridge a mythical, fairy-tale quality. Located in the historic Nevskiy district, the bridge is a favorite spot for photographers and couples, especially at sunset when the light casts a warm glow on the canal and the surrounding architecture. The bridge's name comes from the nearby Assignation Bank (now part of the State University of Economics and Finance), for which it was built. Walking across Bank Bridge offers lovely views of the canal, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in the distance, and the elegant buildings lining the embankment. It's a peaceful escape from the city's busier streets, yet just a short walk from Nevsky Prospekt.

The bridge was originally a toll bridge for the bank's employees, but it has been a public pedestrian bridge for over a century.
