Rancho del Cielo, meaning 'Ranch of Heaven,' served as President Ronald Reagan's western White House and personal retreat from 1974 until his death. Nestled in the rugged hills northwest of Solvang, the 688-acre ranch features a modest adobe-style home, stables, and trails. Visitors can tour the property through guided tours offered by the Young America's Foundation, seeing Reagan's private quarters, the pool, and the tack room. The ranch remains largely as it was during his time, offering an intimate look at the 40th president's life away from Washington.
