Face Mountain is a striking peak near Skagway, named for its sheer cliff that resembles a human face when viewed from the town. It's a favorite subject for photographers and a popular hiking destination. The trail to the summit is steep and challenging but rewards climbers with sweeping views of the Skagway River valley and the Lynn Canal.
