Bell Rock is a prominent red rock butte shaped like a bell, making it one of Sedona's most recognizable and photographed landmarks. Unlike Cathedral Rock, the main trail around its base is relatively flat and easy, suitable for all fitness levels. Visitors can also scramble up the lower slopes for closer views. The rock's unique shape and vibrant color change throughout the day, especially at sunrise and sunset. It's a great spot for a leisurely walk, photography, or a family outing, with the dramatic backdrop of Courthouse Butte nearby.
Don't miss
- Walk the easy Bell Rock Loop Trail around the base for classic views of the butte.
- Climb the lower slopes for a closer look at the rock's bell-like shape and texture.
- Photograph the butte at golden hour when the red rock glows against the blue sky.
