American Falls is one of the three waterfalls comprising Niagara Falls, located entirely within the United States. It drops 180 feet but has a lower water volume than Horseshoe Falls due to a rock pile at its base. Visitors can view it from Prospect Point or the Observation Tower, and the Cave of the Winds tour offers close-up access to the Bridal Veil Falls section.
