Mala Wharf is a historic pier site in Lahaina, now known for its underwater remains that create an artificial reef. The wharf was originally built for shipping and later damaged by storms, leaving pilings and debris underwater. Today, it's a popular snorkeling destination where visitors can see green sea turtles, tropical fish, and occasionally monk seals. The clear, calm waters make it accessible for beginners, and the submerged structures provide habitat for diverse marine species.
